Swim meet this weekend. Going terribly mind you. But thats alright, we pwned at the last meet and this one doesnt really matter anyway.

A lot of things ive just needed to think about. I spent a lot of time today with Sarah and Jaclyn. Especially with Jaclyn, maybe four hours alone. I figured it would be uncomfortable and awkward, but in the end it was a lot of fun. We discussed next year and swimming. I think we have it decided:

Her and Sarah are moving up a Teir and into 6. Marie (If she swims) and i will stay in 5 and we will both swim duet. Im not sure what kind of music Sarah and Jaclyn are looking for, but im sure it will be odd and interesting. As for myself and Marie, we have similar tastes, which is really good. Im thinking of thememing to Cirque du Soleils 'O' because i just saw it this spring break. Sinse we will probably not get custom made suits, i figured instead we would just blow out plenty of money on waterproof makeup and impress in that department.

I have a better 'up close' picture on a poster on my wall though.

Paul's found an appartment! Best of all--Meregon and her boyfriend are moving out/in with him, so ill be able to see them rather often aswell.

Unfortunitially its in no gorgeous sub-sector of Vancouver, but hey, a starving artists gotta start somewhere, right?

He called me up and supposibly we're going to dinner some time in the near future,
his treat, ofcourse. :)

So most people know i wandered off to a swim meet this weekend.

Had a great time. Sarah and i hung out most of friday, sinse Jaclyn didnt catch the boat until 9pm (arriving at 11) Took lots of video. Oh, because im doing a part year project in film on my weekend. I wish i could have taken more, but I was only given one 60minute tape. By sunday i was trying to conserve, but i only had 12 minutes left. I deleted some things so i could get the masters. I mean a 70-79 catagory?? How could i not include that!

I competed in Teir 5, against three other teams. We proudly came in LAST, but our figure scores were so effin good we were moved up to second in championship! (I suppose thats all that really matters, you dont get medals for team) I cant believe how good our figures are this year. Sarah has come in first every meet we've competed in (She got a trophy!) Jaclyn is always in the top five. I came in ninth (out of 27 which is great because last meet i came in 12 out of 18 :/) Kim OFCOURSE came in first. She competed up in teir six, and ended up about 6-7 points over the one other competator in that catagory.

Seeing as all the teir 6's were at westerns (Or had gone to)

Marie didnt do so well (22nd) but our average was 6.2 something something..if i recall. Nanimo diamonds were 6.0. Then the other two teams were 5.9 and 5.8. The reason i was so happy about coming in nineth was that the {Burnaby synchro team}'s highest place was 8th. I mean, i beat almost all of THAT team, and i cant even point my toes correctly. How great did i feel!!

Lots of film from saturday and sunday. Jaclyn burning some popcorn in our hotel room. Sean (sarahs boyfriend) showed UP on saturday right before our team with a bunch of pink roses for sarah! He is the most adorable guy ever. Im so glad i finally got to sit down and hang out with him this weekend. Hes 19, but looks about 16, and has braces, but he is hella funny. We all went in the hot tub saturday night (Sean didnt have a bathing suit so he went in in his boxers) but when he stood up to get out things...werent quite in place. Sarah didnt notice, but he just laughed it off when I had just made an obvious comment about seeing his penis. Its people that can roll with those kind of punches that i really respect. And infront of a bunch of younger girls that we didnt know in the hottub aswell.

Masters was extremely interesting to watch. One woman, Greta Spittle, was in the 70-79 competition catagory. I mean, seriously, if im swimming at that age i would be SO PROUD.
Other news. Lindsay had a blatter infection so she couldnt swim. Which technically should have given us a penalty. (They compete in the team catagory, but theres only 4 of them, minus Lindsay is 3, which is the Trio catagory) But they still did well. Their tech team went GREAT! Compared to what they usually look like, but their team could have been a little more on time. Carolyn has a hard time still sinse she joined about half way into the year and hasnst swam for what...about 5? hehe.

But they came in second! I was so proud. I couldnt imagine any of our coaches swimming, other then Tracy.

They kept saying "From Oceanus Synchro. Marta {er cant recall last name} Andrea Figueria, Carolyn Kinnes, and sometimes Lindsay Baker!" Lindsay felt like a joke, but hopefully she'll be able to start swimming soon. :)

Back from Las Vegas! Boy is that place sure the city that never sleeps. Heck, im underage and i was out until at least 2-3am each night.

Not gonna go blab on it :) Ill just state some key points:

Stayed in the Tropicana, which wasnt that bad. Not as upgraded as the hotels near us, but i spent no time there, so i was happy.

Very very little amount of kids my age, but a LOT younger. Mainly at Circus Circus. I won a big pink rabbit there <3<3

Met a really nice mexican girl my age. She was a sweetie and we played DDR for like two hours. Matter of fact, i probably played at least 5 hours of DDR (or more) in total while there.

Met a really really nice Phillipino guy by the name of Kristian on my flight to Vegas. He was absolutely adorable! With these gorgeous tattoo's running down his arms and peeking out on his neck from his shirt. Turns out hes in the military (Stationed in Cali) and was flying from the Phillipines because his father had passed away. Though he was hanging out in Vegas for a couple of days and invited me out with him. Unfortunitially he ended up being hassled to ship out at 2pm from Vegas back to his barracks.

Arcades every friggen where. EVERYWHERE. And the jewish deli in New york new york is so not jewish...

The Thunder down Under was performing in Excalibur!! Oh man part of me wanted to see that just for kicks :D A big wedding party was there, well, the brides half ofcourse.

Alright enough gushing from me. And no, i didnt buy anything. I didnt get off the strip and everything there is WOE IS ME expensive. And really not all that appealing.

I heard the /cough/ new Nine Inch Nails song on the way home from synchro last night.
Kim seemed rather eager to hear it, usually she changed the station when theres adds, but this time she didnt.

I dont have that much to say about it.
Other then they reminded me of the song "Somebody told me" By the Killers.
Possibly just the chorus, which i didnt get a whole lot out of.
Maybe it was that nice solid drum beat, and electric guitars that pulled it together.
Heck, i mean when i was into NIN, at least Trent was doing remotely creative stuff with his music.
Now NIN has gone mainstream! Yay!
Not only does his voice sound weak, but now he sounds like everyone else.
{Not to mention he cannot transition notes worth peanuts, during the endings NIN memorable 'repeating several words over and adding more people to sing them'- he does a terrible transition between the words: "Will you bite the hand that feeds --> you)
Now all the little gawth girlies are going to buy his album and complain about how all the old ones suxxors.

My mother had surgery on thursday,

School is way down, my marks are way down, and i cant wait until swimming is over.
Really at this point hitting me would not matter! I just need things to be on track.

I think i spent a good hour and a half watching music videos via-net yesterday with Chad.

He told me about Disturbed's Benefit Concerts and I wandered over to Disturbed1.com
And watched some music videos! What I always do when im there.
Watching 'Voices' , I noticed something.
"MTV butchered it!" Har.
I always thought that video was good except for one little part where its a still shot too long , in the center, of the guys face before the bridge. But NO. Thats not how it actually is! It switched only about one second in to him tieing up his boss.
But MTV cut it out!! (Actually, just the downloaded version i have off the net)
As did they cut out a part where he duct tapes his coworkers mouths. So sad.
"They make Draiman not seem scary!" :) Not that ive seen a Disturbed video play on MTV..

Which brings me to another topic we were talking about. Draimons labrets.
Probably one of the most interesting piercings ive seen, plainly because of the jewlery.
For those, which is most, who didnt know how love-struck i was over those talons, i was interested in getting them sinse before highschool. Sinse Kyla introduced me to Disturbed. Long time!
Finally when i hit 16, well, lets just say im glad i didnt get them :) Not only would it wreak havoc with my swimming (Though id switch jewerly, we get people getting piercings ripped out rather often, even barbells) but with /cough other things! And so now im off to search.
Chad said that the only thing he could see me with [facial] is a nose stud, but i want to stay away from my nose, because of my terrible terrible allergies. Pshh. And everyone else keeps telling me i should get my brow done. Uh, Kim [Keene] has her brow done. Jaclyn nearly ripped the darn thing out!! Not touching that with a ten foot pole.

Oh the stress of a highschool girl!

So much i dont want.
Maybe i should just wait until ive stopped growing.
But watching these videos strikes back that fire :/

My English teacher approached me yesterday, after class. (After school, though I was rushing to swimming)

"You forgot to show me your poem."
Pardon me, actually you told me to go away because you were too busy during class and to come see you tomorrow
So I whipped it out to show her. Something I scribbled up in two minutes.
Because anyone thats gone through highschool knows teachers cant properly mark poetry anyway.
Seeing as its all deemed 'to each their own'.

"This is some really amazing stuff Kim."
That? its what...10 lines max? Yeah, impressive.
"You seem like youre one heck of a writer. Stories, poetry..you must really love writing."
No actually I hate it. I never do it.
"Whats your muse? How do you get things like this? These words, this imagry. How do you do this?"
What?

I reply: "...I like music."

I dont know if that was the stupid, or something intelligent.
I base all my writing after music. After songs. After lyrics. After the structure.
(I could name at least 10 songs that ive done poems for for school.)
Mein Herz Brennt was one, hah.
Anyway, that made me feel good. :)

I watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen last night at Vicki's
Thats probably the ...at least sixth time ive seen it.
Its not alltogether that great of a movie, but i always seem to be watching it with girls.
Girls who like to fawn over blonde, blue eyed american boys and 'Dorian Gray'. (Well he had nice hair)

But after watching it AGAIN last night. Probably watching it with the least interest, it struck me that Jason Flemyng (Dr. Henry Jekyll/Edward Hyde) probably plays one of the most complex characters in the entire movie. And I was sitting there gawking at him every time he came on screen. Not that hes physically attractive at all, but just little things about his character. How his nerves work up madly, how hes always trying to impress 'Mina' but in a more suitable way then anyone else. How hes never direct with things.

Ahhh...its stupid to be rambling about a movie.
Especially this one. I just thought the character was played well.
On the odd hand I would have fallen for him, but im extremely happy where I am right now :)
I guess I just like the two sides.

The more i think on it the more i want them, but i cant /have/ them, because of swimming :(

Chad if you read this im stuck at the school til four to wait to do a socials midyear exam.

Yes, the one i skipped for the last 2 mornings.
Wait.
I got pulled out and had to take other makeup tests then. So actually..ive been trying to get this one done, but couldnt.

Instead my lousy socials teacher goes. "Japanese exam!?!?! BULLSHIT! This is socials and all i care about is SOCIALS NOT JAPANESE"

Then proceeds to make a speach infront of the entire class of how hes fead up with our 'shit'. Whatever thats suppose to be taken as.

Well whatever. Now he rescheduled it for four today. I thought the best idea would be just not to go to see how pissed off he gets but then i realized:
Socials sucks
the only way im going to make it through is to not fail so taking this test would probably be a good idea.

I only say that with my post-secondary education in mind, not that they will look at my grade 11 year history. Especially when im going into computer technology and media arts.

Stupid damned...argh...i hate it here. Let me go home.

Vikki and James broke up. Holy WOW! I only know them together!
Wait ive only know them for like a month and a half..

Well anyways, apparently Vikki's going into paril and making Paul carry her around so we dont get to hang out. He said i should go call James as a joke.

James is one attractive mutha'. Not my kind of personality at all, but hair like the devil. (Well, not as good as Chad's) Plus i think hes turning 20 soon. I can handle that, but not if he starts crying.
